Dear Math, Please Solve Your Own Problems. I Have Enough Of My Own.

You student? Then you, not unlike the other students regardless on what level they're in, knows there's always a subject, if not more, that is of your dislikes. Possibly because it is a subject that you find yourself hard to grasp it, or because the teacher in-charge is "not-so-friendly" (especially when you didn't finished the homework given) ,or merely because you're never interested in it.

In every semester, there must be at least, for one subject. As for me, well, I don't find any subject that I really dislikes, up until I was introduced to a subject that they call, mathematics. And guess what, that subject keeps looming in my time table ever since my first day as a student, about 15 years ago in a lovely kindergarten, and still counting!

I don't have an exact reason why I don't like mathematics after all, it is just, well, I'm not really into it! I don't like dealing with numbers (unless when it comes to money) or anything that leads to the word 'calculating'. Statistics, Calculus, Logarithms, Derivatives, Functions etc, you name it, nothing will trigger my enthusiasm to study those. I just don't like it, and I'm damn sure my brain dislikes it too.

" A man bought 150 watermelons, 90 apples, 55 oranges and 20 lemons from a mart with an original price of RM1000. He paid with a price of 20% lower.

Question: What is the selling price? "

Mathematics is ridiculous. It is the only place where people buy 150 watermelons and no one ever wonders why. LOL.

Anyway thats a standard 6 math question. 5 years later the question evolved to be like this:

" A man bought 150 watermelons, 90 apples, 55 oranges and 20 lemons from a mart in Ontario, Canada with a price of RM1000. He want to sell those at his stall in Connecticut, USA with a price 20% higher.

Question: How far has he travelled? "

TETTT!! I beg to differ. The questions that should be asked is:

What he wanna do with that much watermelons, apples, oranges and lemons? Is he throwing a party or something? And why would he buy those in Canada, though his stall is at USA? Does USA ban the selling of those fruits in the country?

I'll solve the problem only when mathematics clarifies those things to me first.

Yeah, me and my logic. I wish I could do those. LOL

Semester Break Syndrome

Packing up for home for a break? Instead of filling up the bags with cloths, you certainly bring along a few, if not much, loads of books, with an intention to study them at home later on. As far as I concern, I bet as a student we all do this, right? Yeah, of course we do.

But do we..? Well, for the umpteenth time, HECK NO.

*or maybe if you do, surely not all the books. Just some lucky books, and that is it.

Every single time we were at home, we had always resisted to study. Reluctantly, sometimes we do, but not as much as we thought we would on the first place, when we were still packing up. Didn't it so? No surprise at all, because it simply happened every single time! Every single break we had, semester break, mid semester break, or any other kind they got for us, it happens.

I can recall lots of myself doing this from the past semesters. Brought home a whole lot of books, but studied just a page or two of them. Worse, sometimes didn't even study any of them at all. But afterwards I still kept doing it back then; anticipating that I will study all of the books at home, but ending with not even touching any of them.

Well, sometimes I thought maybe I shouldn't be bringing any of the books at all when I know that I wouldn't revise any of them later on, but I still brought back some of them anyway, just to relieve myself up. "Just in case I wanna study", I whispered to myself back then, but later on, that case was never a case, and presumably will never be a case. It never happened.

I never got interested  to have revisions at home, sincerely spoken.

Put the blame on that much distractions we have at home; TV, Internet (though at the hostel we have it too, but at home it is conveniently pretty MUCH faster), Astro, video games, friends, tasty and completely free food(we don't have to think twice about the price of the food we have at home, we simply eat it all), comfy bed( it never is the same with the bed at the hostel! Nothing feels like home) naughty little sisters; everything!
I can always get away with all of the stuffs that I have at home, so I don't feel anything that will just fuel my study mood, frankly said. In the other words, HOME IS NOT A PLACE TO REVISE, regardless you're in a middle of an examinations or just not. It will never work, no matter how much book you brought back home.

Unless you're really an uptight, well-disciplined person, that you've trained yourself to be adaptable to any situations regardless the place and time, regardless the conveniences you have at home, to study. To anyone who think he/she's like that,

LOL :D

Exam Zombies

Ahh.. Here comes the exam seasons! Know what does it means? The rat race had just blazed its trail! This is the moment where people become weirdly conscientious in their studies; staying up all night long like zombies and breaking their bones trying to grasp and memorize something from those thick books, all the time.

And the next morning they drag themselves into the examination hall and fill all the blanks in the sheet with their heavy eyes, extremely craving for some sleeps. 3 hours later, they race back to their hostel and snored. Everything they read the previous night then, every single thing they had occupied the blanks with in the exam hall, will be erased. The next day, they face another book till dawn for another paper, occupied the blanks with everything they read, and snored.

And the cycle continued till the last day of exam..

Now here's a couple of questions to ask:

"Getting stuck in the loony system, does it makes the student academically excellent?"

NO!

"When the result is announced, does the students' CGPA's reflects with their true academic excellence"?

HELL NO!

Well, they're not excellent, they're just good in memorizing things. Later on, after the particular papers, everything will be forgotten.

Exam-oriented studies don't create an academically excellent student, they create zombies.

The systems sucks isn't it?  >.<

He's The Very Best Of Teacher

Huh, this blogs dusty! Hi all, I'm so sorry for not updating this blog for quite a while, well, its kinda north of a month coz my last post was dating from July 11th 2011. It was just because I got stuck in a situation of "so many things to do, so little time", facing 9 examination papers throughout the month. The worst thing is, it was the Final Examination papers. Yeah, the very last exam before I get to step into the life of a degree student, well, this upcoming September.

The reason why I took the Final Exam real late than the others because I caught a dengue fever when the others were facing the exam. So my exam was dragged to a date dating south of three months from the real final examination date, just for my recovery.

But as my exam was scheduled to be in July, so I have to arrange my own place to stay throughout the 5 days period of exam. But then I decided to just stay at my previous hostel, even it is already occupied with juniors. Well, sharing is caring right? Plus it won't take any longer, just a 5 days period. A LONG 5 DAYS PERIOD.

It was actually a very long, tough a week of 5 days. There were always obstacles, like when I lost my baggage at the bus station in Seremban, when I had to take a paper without an identification card and proper attire (coz my cloths were all there in the lost bag!), and of course, when I had to explain why to the people at the examination center. That moment I was really have to cling to my own self, coz I got nobody to assist me with everything.

But I was so lucky a very generous lecturer got my back. He was Mr. Arho, who teach Physics to the foundation students in my university. He helped me everyday with almost everything; gave me a ride to my hostel, treated me lunch, gave me his office keys in case I want to study in a period between the papers, supported me morally etc. Served me all the assistance I need along such a week of helter skelter like that . I owed him really that much.

On my last day there before I had my last paper, I told Mr. Arho my mechanical pencil was broken and so I wished to borrow a pencil from him. I put the dismantled mechanical pencil on his table (it was terrible broken) all scattered, before I thanked him and left to face the paper. 3 hours later when my paper was over I came back to his office, but he wasn't there. But suddenly I saw my mechanical pencil was still there on the table, but fully mantled and in a good shape. Yes, he fixed it for me, man. I was so touched :)

In the evening when he sent me back to my hostel for the last time, I hugged him real tight, thanked him for helping me and treated me really good, even though before this we never got to know each other that better. I mean, he didn't teach my class or my lecture. I just met him by coincidence before that. But he treated me otherwise; just like I was his son. I felt so touched by his kindness and so lucky to have his assistance. Really do.

He's one of the best teacher I've ever known :) Mucho gracias, Mr. Arho.

M.E.N.T.A.L.I.T.Y.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

People change, the only thing matter is whether it is approaching positivity or other the way around. Nothing much but the very nature of human. People always change in every sort of things that come in life; lifestyle, attitude, habit, conscientiousness, fervor in something whatsoever, as time flies. Even if they'll say they don't, well, they just do.

Why do we change? Thats nature. Being human is full of demands. Whatever we've gotten, we always want more than that. It is like, prevailing in something that will lead us to a desire of prevailing another thing further ahead. And to achieve it we must change, which means to take sides, whether to the better or the worse. Coz mind you, in life there are nothing much as a "fence-sitter". We must choose.

Picking a rightful side isn't a hard choice. Living it, is. Why? As most people are lulled by the reality of a worldly life, they tend to chose the wrong side. There are a small portion of them who chose the other side, which is awfully untrodden but it leads to the better life instead; the Islamic way of life. But as there are more people choosing the wrong side rather than the right side, the wrong side suddenly appear to look as "right".

One friend of mine commented on a profile picture of a girl that wasn't wearing any hijab. He reminded her that it would be nicer if she wore a proper attire as a Muslim. What did he got in return?

"This is my profile picture okay, get your nose out of it."

My classmate decided to put an end to his relationship with her girlfriend. He knows how wrong it is and he chose to broke up in the name of Islam. Honestly he did, but what do you reckon that girl reacted?

"Ahh stop pretending to be pious. Get lost."

One of my friend posted in his wall that he's "in a relationship" with a girl. You know what people have responded?

"Wow you're advanced! I don't even get a girlfriend yet. Haha. Good for you."

This is the MENTALITY of our people. The mindset is tuned into "everything that is wrong in Islam is cool", "things that most people do are great" and "to be Islamic is lame". And this is getting worse everyday; no one is noticing it!

Brothers and sisters, all we need is another change, and this time, it is the MENTALITY.

Bersih 2.0 : Yellow Tee VS Red Tee.

Okay this is ridiculous. It is reported that Pemuda UMNO, the one that is strongly against Bersih 2.0 demonstration on this upcoming 9th of July, is now rounding up as much followers as they can to halt the illegal demonstration, with another damn demonstration! They call it 'Himpunan Patriot', and guess what, they will be wearing red tee during the allocated date. Dear Lord..

Deja Vu? Yeah, now it looks EXACTLY like 2009's chaotic Thailand ! Yellow tee against red tee!

Great, now Pemuda UMNO is violating their own words. To stop a demonstration with another demonstration is tremendously preposterous! Apparently this would only get things exacerbated, and this is the clash that will lead to chaos, riots and all the things we afraid of.

And I wondered if this "Himpunan Patriot" approved by the government, or just another outlaw rally like Bersih 2.0?

Whatever it is, it is the WORST idea I ever heard from UMNO side. Really do.

Frankly I really don't think Bersih 2.0 Rally alone will turn into chaos. Not, until FRU gonna come on board and mess everything up with their water cannon and tear gas to the crowd. But with the "red tee" of Pemuda UMNO's Himpunan Patriot joining in I'm sure there'll be a terrible catastrophe. Somebody will get hurt.

I'm with Bersih 2.0 of their memorandum that is the main purpose is for search of justice in electoral system. Thats it, and thats all. But talking about the chaos that is going to be happening soon in KL soon, I beg to disagree. But again, Pemuda UMNO has really make things worst. The idea of having another demonstration to stop Bersih 2.0 is totally absurd. You can make a joke out of it!

9th of July 2011, everybody will get wet soon :(

Whining Again!

Today is the first time I feel a lil bit distracted and outraged for being a blogger. Well, this is not the first time I got criticized for the idea I delivered in my writings here, and my another disgusting blog TNA, and it doesn't matter anyway. In fact I like critics; it improves an idea to the better. It makes an idea grows, fuels critical minds and different views in brainstorming an idea together. Right? And yea, it also shows that my blog also got some readers out there. LOL.

I love good arguments about something brainy, or anything that is just worth to argue on. I did appreciate any feedbacks from the readers, anything, but just one thing; MIND YOUR WORDS. If you don't like the idea than its fine, you are welcomed to hit me back in comments, but please have a manner okay. I don't appreciate offensive, harsh words, please.

I did once received a feedback saying "F*ck you!", and "Stupid Dely" a lil times ago, and I was a lil' bit outraged like, "What did I write to deserve that?" Seriously.

It was an opinion, and most of them was just me whining on something. Know what whining is? Nothing serious! So don't take it so hard lad. And you don't need to be that cranky in your words if you don't agree with anything I wrote here. A good comment will do.

:)

Anyway, congratulations to Hassan and Nazrul of Imam Muda for their success proceeding to final :)

Wish you all the best! People used to criticize this reality program as degrading the religion or commercializing it, your call, but you cannot deny that this program is MUCH BETTER to most other reality programs broadcasted. Try view it positively :)

The Truth Is, I Didn't Yet Have My Final Exam!

I got something to tell ya. Two months ago, when everybody were breaking their backs preparing for the final exam during the study week, I suddenly caught a dengue fever. It was the worst fever, in fact the worst 2 weeks of my life. I was shaking, trembling like a leaf on the bed, and my body was steaming hot. It was reaching 40 degree celcius, and I could firmly assure you, it wasn't really got any better in the first week. On the other hand, I got weaker and weaker everyday.

I was just merely couldn't do anything. My only room mate was quite ignorant, the one that I really could "count on"; while I was dying on the bed, he kept on studying on his desk! How could he.. I couldn't say a word, but again, never mind, I was just so lucky my other housemates got my back. One of them kindly assisted me to the clinic, but the doctor inspect nothing serious. Nothing serious? But then he gave me Paracetamol and asked us to go to hospital if if didn't really cease in 2 or 3 days.

Well the next day, I was still shaking on my bed, and I felt worse. I didn't think I could afford to wait for another 2 or 3 days, so my housemate again, decided to send me to a hospital. They brought me to Hospital Serdang, and finally, the doctor spotted that I got symptoms for dengue. That was nothing surprising, coz my friends had been telling that to the doctors in the clinics on the first place, but they didn't believe it. Well, looking to the bright side, at least now they wouldn't take my case lightly as the doctors in the previous clinics.

But I was wrong. They were still saying that there was nothing going on, so they let me go that night. Then the next day at my hostel, my whole body was seriously shivering, no joke, I mean like, REAL serious. This time if the doctor still gonna say that there were still nothing going on, I would strangle him to death myself. LOL.

But then guess what, that doctor survived. He finally told us I was really on dengue and would be hospitalized right away. Phew! God bless him. =.="

I was there for 3 days till my father came on board and transferred me to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu. Even though my mind was troubled by the dengue, and the final exams I left behind, but still, its good to be home :)

But anyway, the thing that pinged me that moment was, the doctor there said that I was in critical stage of a dengue fever! Critical, oh Lord, I got real panicked, and merely thought of death. I knew everything could happen that time. I heard lots of dengue cases which ended with deaths, and those cases kept looming in my mind on that moment. I was scared.

Time flew, and approaching a week I've been there the dengue finally started to cease. My body temperature dropped to normal, and I felt healthy again. I was real happy, so thankful to the Exalted for granting me with health again. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah!

Within 3 days I was finally allowed to get home :)

But I'm still have one job undone; Final Exam. It has been 2 months but still no news about it, but I'm working hard on it right now. Pray for me, everything will be fine okay? :)

Okay, back to my study desk!

Cheerio :)

Suicidal : Are You People Going Nuts?

A few months ago I was having my lunch at the cafe of UIAM Nilai when a security guard came and told that a student attempted to commit suicide on the previous night. He slashed his wrist with a knife and threatened to jump from the third floor of the building.

Security Guard : Last night was a chaos. Everyone got panicked when a boy suddenly got on the ledge. His wrist was bleeding. He threatened that he will jump.

People at the stall : Really? That's something we can't see everyday, didn't it? Haha. Anyway, did he really jumped?

Security Guard : (Chuckled) Indeed. Haha. Well, he didn't. He was saved, and quickly rushed to the hospital.   What a close call.

People at the stall : That might be a close call, but I don't have a sense of sympathy for a lad like that. He didn't deserve it. What a fool. Didn't he know what are waiting for him in the afterlife if he did suicide last night? Everybody's doing everything they can to sustain a good health, but he purposely looking for death?

Security Guard : Yeah, thats nothing but obvious stupidity. It is awful to know that an educated people like him would choose to commit such things. Well I might be just a security guard here, but it has never crossed my mind to do so, even though how hard my life has came to be. Well, maybe it is not too much to say that as for today, uneducated people are wiser than the educated ones.

People at the stall : Yeah well, the world's turning upside down now.

Security Guard : Exactly. Well, you know, when most people got panicked, cried and chaotic as the boy stood on that third floor's ledge and threatened to jump, I must be the only one to say, " Do a backflip!" Hahaha.

=.="

Well then, I'm agree with both of them. They're right, those people who commit suicide or attempted to do it don't deserve any mercy nor sympathy. What, do they think life has no value at all? We live for no reason, and so do how we can choose to die? Haha. Great.

They might be greatly unstable, emotionally interrupted or whatsoever, but there are solutions for all of that. No need to be over outraged and slit your own throat. That won't solve any of your problem, in fact it would only exacerbate it. Don't be a fool okay, value your life to the fullest.

"Islam is the solution" :)

I Love My Eyes

You know what, all my family members, except the youngest one and me, are "spectacular". Well, and why the heck are that word got those apostrophe? Well because I'm referring to that "spectacular" because they're all wearing "spectacles". None of my family member are that real spectacular yet. For no reason whatsoever.

=.="

Looking to that I'm feeling so lucky. I never wore glasses, and I would like to keep it that way forever. Hehe. Well anyway I didn't really find my sisters and my parents enjoy wearing it. It looks troublesome, and not much comfortable. Is it really? Maybe not to everyone. Perhaps some of them prefer glasses than nothing to put on. I don't know.

But my second sister, well, she's the opposite of what I just said when she was in her primary school. I still remembered that how that girl pondered to be just like my eldest sister, on her age, wearing glasses. And she's just 8 on that time! I guess it was just out of her curiosity, she wanna try everything she got in sight.

All three sisters I have, they got one thing in common; they're seriously addicted to TV. Always got they're eyes glued to the screen. I guess that must be the reason why most of them are wearing glasses now. Me? Well I'm just so lucky coz I don't really got any fervor in watching TV. While the three sisters were having riots in the living room fighting and scrambling for the remote control, I got nothing to lose. I rarely watch it anyway, except if there's any interesting football match, like the one in two days ago. Hehe.

And I can't imagine how would I looks like in glasses. Err..

GODDAMMIT! It looks horrible!

Okay, wearing glasses is the worst idea. Ever.

A Break Up Story

June 6th, 2011. 10:11 a.m.

Time flies. It has been almost a month after we broke up, but it's still circles in my mind on how I still feels the blame was on me, coz I merely has failed to explain to you why I turned around. I don't know what else to do. You deleted my messages on phone before reading it, you turned off the Chatbox whenever you saw me online, you never replied me; you did everything to keep yourself away from my words, even I merely just want to explain why I decided to end our melodramatic relationship, that instant. Why I betrayed your feelings, why I ignored your concerns about me, and why I don't think being together in the name of love is really works on both of us. You didn't, no, you still don't want to listen to me.

Dear name, why must we hold grudge to each other over a ruined relationship? The thing is, you hates me. You hates me to the bottom of your heart. You mentioned me in every each of your status updates on how freaking evil I was to you, with hell of harsh words. Some kind of euphemism I guess. But I admit it, I was evil to you. I didn't appreciate your feelings on me when I decided to break up. You sacrificed a lot for me over those 6 months we've been together, but this is how I gave you in return; a break-up. I was evil. I was a bad guy, probably the worst guy you ever known in your entire life.

But sincerely, frankly, and honestly, you have to know that the reason why I left you was just for the best sake of both of us. I don't mind anymore if you wanna say that I was being hypocritical over this, or I was just pretending to be a good man or whatsoever, as long as I know that I'm doing the right thing, I don't scare of anything. You didn't scare me with your ominous words of doing a revenge as a retaliation to me, you didn't scare me with your harsh words, you didn't scare me by getting your friends against me, or anything; I know I'm doing the right thing.

Dear name, I didn't want to overwhelm ourselves in sins over the false relationship we've pledge allegiance together all this while. You know what, I came to realize how vulnerable I was when we're together, and suddenly I felt shame for myself. I was from a well-known, respected high school for its Islamic background, in which templates everything must be made by putting religious matter first before others no matter what, and after I went out of the school, this is what I came to be? Getting myself involved my a relationship in the so-called name of love?

I've betrayed all the Islamic values that I got from my previous school before. I got a very tight Islamic background, but I couldn't resist this. It really made me think, dear. This is why I turned around and decided to break up with this false relationship. The relationship in the so-called "name of love". I don't wanna say "couple", coz it made me felt so bad. Frankly.

Dear name, do you still remember the day when we spoke to each other about this. Its still clear in my mind on how we've agreed not to couple no matter how close we'll gonna be. No matter what, we'll stay together but not as a couple. But dear, out of blue, look what've came to us at last? We blatantly have violated our own words. We were recklessly kept drowning in the sweet memories of being together. Of being loved. And slightly forgot where the relationship shouldn't extends to. We've crossed the line we ourselves garrisoned. Sorry but I've to say, WTF on earth has happened to me?

We were blindfolded in the mirth, thats for sure. We kept swaying ourselves in the sweet relationship, without alarming how we've gone so far away.

Well thats the F.

Thats why, my dear, I suddenly decided that this should not proceed any further. We've been so vulnerable, and I couldn't afford to risk it anymore, thats why I quit.

Its up to you to believe me or not. You might still say that I'm pretending to be good again, its really up to you. Up to you if you couldn't accept a change in me to better, I don't care.

If a man wanna change in his life and then criticized, mocked and accused to be pretending, you can obviously know who's right and who's wrong. You can say anything, and I will not react over those confrontational words ever again. I won't get offended again over those cranky disposition you shown me.

Just one thing, I really wish that you will stop hating me one day. What the point of having vengeance, it won't solve anything instead of making it worse. We only live once, don't waste it with hates and grudges.

Sincere.

Top 3 Most Popular Carreer In Malaysia

These are the top 3 most popular carreer prospects and sectors in Malaysia.

1. Doctors

We have 30 medical schools and institutes in Malaysia.

In 2010 we have 3650 medical graduates, and to 2020 it is anticipated that we'll be producing 3000 - 4000 medical graduates every year.

Current ratio for doctors per patients = 1 doctor is to 903 patients (1:903).

Conclusion : We need more doctors.

2. Engineers

We have 9 engineering schools and universities in Malaysia.

Extends to wide sectors and field of engineering, such as network engineering, automobile engineering, civil engineering, technical engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering and so forth.

We have 60,000 registered engineers throughout Malaysia, with only 14,000 to 15,000 of them are profesionals.

We are expected to have 40,000 more engineers.

Conclusion : We need more engineers.

3. Artists

We have International College of Music (ICOM), Faculty Of Music in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Akademi Seni Budaya & Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), and thousands more of other private schools, such as YAMAHA Music School, Bentley Music Academy, Pianissimo School of Music etc.

Plus, we have more TV programmes and shows that are aimed to recruit and produce more artists by year. I heard lots more are coming.

All over Malaysia, we have UNCOUNTABLE numbers of artists, extending from independents to profesionals. Close to infinity.

Conclusion : Enough is enough!

Oh for God sake we already got much artists in here. Will you stop?

I Want To Be A Kid Again

When I was younger I've totally enjoyed my childhood times. I still remembered on how naive and innocent I was when I was in my primary school. I don't think I've done something that can be considered as an offence throughout the whole 6 years I spent in my primary school. Nothing. My records were clean. I've never get a call from my school's principal complaining about my discipline or whatsoever, when most of my friends did.

It is still well remembered on a day when one of my worst friend came to the class and brought something into the class. And he managed to round up plenty of our friends to a spot where he showed the "thing" that he brought, and all of them seems to be very interested to that "thing". At first I didn't really know and couldn't even anticipate on what the fuss is all about, but I can sense how illegal the "thing" is, looking to the crowds' weird attention. Well thats odd.

So out of my curiosity I joined the crowd to find out. OMG, you know what, it was a few slides of porno mags!

And just after I got a glance to the pornographies, I was kind of shocked, (coz thats the very first time for me to see such a thing!) and knowing how these things are so wrong, I quickly rushed out of the crowd. Whoa, no wonder he managed to get such an attention. Pornographies. OMG.

(Somehow I'm still wondered on how freaking vulnerable we were to those things when we were only in primary school. And we didn't even hit puberty yet!)

Thats one thing happened in my primary school that I still can remember. (Proving how innocent and naive I was, I didn't even join the crowd to enjoy those pornographies even when I was so vulnerable to)  :P

There were also one day when I was in standard 5 if I weren't mistaken, when one of my friend brought some firecrackers into the school. You know what we did with the firecrackers? We got onto the football field, caught some frogs and toads we found, and we detonate them with the explosives!

(We were wicked little fellas. Seriously demented. Sorry =.= )

That was too extremely south of proper, but it was my friends' preposterous idea. I was just following him. Hehe.

That were some of my childhood memories that I kinda missed the innocence very much. It was a very cute experience to be a kid with no desire of lust, angers, rages, jealousy or whatsoever. All we've done were just to get some fun. Indeed, it was really the fun that we got.

OH I MISS MY INNOCENT LIFE

The Greater Good

Hot Fuzz is a great movie and one of my favorite movie ever. It's an old stuff and I've been watching it for a million time but still catches my laughters. But despite of those ridiculous jokes and comedies there are still one great value portrayed in this movie.

Sgt Angel : Why are you accommodate the under-ages in the pub?

Pub owner : Well they might be a year or two south of proper but if we let them in here it prevent them from getting into trouble out there.

His wife : The way we see it its all for the greater good.

Pub owner : Yeah, the greater good.

Forget about the under-ages and the pub, it is the "greater good" that matters. This movie taught me on how we sometimes have to ignore what people says and the typical of the society, the norms or whatsoever that get on the way to be better things, in order to be good.

Which reminds me to the brilliant quote from my beloved English lecturer:

"Sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind"

A Special Post For KTS 3

It have been ages since I didn't post words like this. I miss to whine like this ever again. =.=

Anyway, thats not the point. This post is just dedicated to all USIM Tamhidians who gonna face the excruciating weeks on the next exactly 9 days; THE FINAL EXAM. This is going to be the second final exam for us, which also means the most crucial, grand and decisive examination in our life as a Tamhidi student here.

This one will decide our next step as a University student; entering into a Degree students and the courses that were offered as well. Insya-Allah, yet to come :)

And we're in the final stage before the most awaited and creepy day to come. Study week! (Aren't I supposed to study right now? =.=)

Erm, pal, have you all decided the courses you best fit? I hope all of you, whatever you've decided to pick, have weighted the pros and cons and will get the courses you wished to be in. And me, I'd love to be in Food Biotech soon, as I'm damn so into Biology rather than other subjects. I can doubt it no more, Biology is my favourite subject since I was in school. Yes I didn't score very well in Biology though, but I believe in enthusiasm more than grades. If I were to take Actuary Science, did score very well in Mathematics but I didn't enjoy it, whats the point? Anyway since Medics and Dentistry is overrated, I can only rely on this one Biology-based field of study; Biotechnology. Physics is interesting, but Mathematics is non-negotiable. I really can't have much on Mathematics. I'm really not so good in numbers.

Whatever it is going to be soon, Insya-Allah I'll be just fine. I've trained myself to be immune to failures, no hard feelings. I'm a pessimist, you know. I'm always expecting the worst. It left me prepared if I ever fall down again. (There were already a lot of ''fall-downs'' in my life)

And yes, before I forget, I gotta say this. Erm, to all my friends in KTS 3, there's only ONE word that best potray my appreciations, love and friendship to all of you :

Yes, thank you, to all of you. Thanks for accepting me back. Thanks for giving me chance to be a part of you ever again, even I really knows that I weren't fit to be together again with all of you. Thanks for being a very dedicated, tolerated, and reliable friends to me. Thanks for helping me to adapt with all of this, especially when I first came here and really need support from you all, mentally and physically, to survive. I truly got it all, more than what I need. Thanks for not degrading me and treating me equally as others. Thanks for understanding my situations and always gave me special privilege to help me get going like others. Thanks for concerning about me so much and loves me, if you do.

And lastly, thanks, for allowing me to call you all "friends" ever again. That's the best thing :)

Especially for TTS 8, thanks a lot for this sweet friendship. You're my biggest family I ever had :)

And good luck for this incoming Final Exam, friends. Insya-Allah :)

Hypocrites? Who?

One of my worst high school friend once told me this;

"Having a blog is seriously hypocrite. You say something just to please others, post something that's not yours, write anything that's never potrays your true colour, and do anything just to keep more followers.
You're all rubbish!"

Okay okay, I lied. That last statement wasn't him.

But people, nothing personal, but frankly what do you think about it?

Me? Of course I wouldn't agree with that crap! Its not because I own a blog, or I really am being hypocrite, or I just hate him (although it is). I just don't agree on the way he define "hypocricy" itself.

Let me tell you what's the true meaning of being hypocrite.

UIAM, Public Speaking Contest.

Mr. Vice Chancellor
: Thank you UIAM for inviting me to judge those new bright stars. I have to say that I totally admires and greatly amazed by all the performances that had been performed by all of the contestant previously. Their talent in delivering speech was so wonderful, very outspoken, fluent and very very inspiring. I personally think that was totally the greatest speech that I ever seen in my life from this kind of public speaking competition. This is the only university that I think have the best potential in public speaking rather than any other universities in the whole Malaysia. Congratulations!

2 months before..

USIM, Public Speaking Contest

Mr. The Very Same Vice Chancellor: Thank you USIM for inviting me again. Now I have to say that these talents are the very best and really amazed me. Those speakers are totally outspoken, fluent and their speech are really inspiring. Personally I really think that those speakers had delivered the greatest speeches I ever heard or seen in my life in public speaking. This university is the very best in this field. Give them a standing ovation everyone!

These are the real hypocrites!

And now who's rubbish?

Debate VC Cup USIM : Semi Final Is Our Limit

You know, everytime I failed something, I got my own philosophy to calm myself down and get me going again, that is:

"Everybody loves a comeback"

Simple and seems like a statement to you I guess, but these 4 letters had been helping a lot in making my day whenever I had some failures in something. Because to me when I failed something, I'll bear in mind these words and think how these failures will soon appear to be nothing if I were to make a comeback soon. And everybody will surely be more amazed on how I could ever stand up again and make a comeback over those failures that I had before. And also on the same time nothing would ever make me down. Nothing at all.

When we were lost to FPg (Faculty of Dentistry) debate team in the semi final elimination round, I saw everybody got emotional and sunk in their own dampened spirit. I totally understand on how our Tamhidi debate team had disappointed them a lot because this Tamhidi teams were the one who used to win last 2 years VC Cup Debating Tournaments, in fact, me myself felt the same too. How tragic to lose on a very close call. How tragic to lose for we've come this far up.

But I gotta say although I was sad to lose in semi final yesterday, yet to me I didn't mind that much coz I had already trained myself NOT to get myself down anymore. I've trained myself to be a pessimist; expect the worst in everything and so whatever the result is I would be just fine. How so? Okay, here's a situation. Suppose a player is playing in the biggest football tournament and he would be just like me; a pessimist. He expected that his team would never even reach the second round. But they actually managed to get to final but lose there. What do you reckon that previous player would feel then? A great disappointment over those failures? Bother his mind by keep thinking that he's all to blame for the failures? Cries all day over the lose after they've come that far?

HELL NO!

In fact he'll be happy and as fine as before the tournament, because he'd never expected that they'll ever come that far up. He'd not even anticipate to get further than the second round either! So eventually he has totally nothing to cry on.

The same goes if they really lose on the second round. He'd be fine too coz he was emotionally prepared on that. His prediction got on the right way and for that on what he'll ever feel disappointed? Sad? Totally zero.

So that's why I personally believes that it is much better to be a pessimist rather than an optimist, who'll never mentally prepared on failures, because they expected everything to be beyond and keep demanding for more. In fact they'll never get content on whatever they have. Never satisfied!

But to my friends in VC Cup, I would like to express my greatest gratitude and say that I admired all your talents in debating and I'm so happy that we knew each other. Whatever happened you're all are still the best debaters that I've ever known. Just one word, all of you;

"Thank You"
