Exam Zombies

Ahh.. Here comes the exam seasons! Know what does it means? The rat race had just blazed its trail! This is the moment where people become weirdly conscientious in their studies; staying up all night long like zombies and breaking their bones trying to grasp and memorize something from those thick books, all the time.

And the next morning they drag themselves into the examination hall and fill all the blanks in the sheet with their heavy eyes, extremely craving for some sleeps. 3 hours later, they race back to their hostel and snored. Everything they read the previous night then, every single thing they had occupied the blanks with in the exam hall, will be erased. The next day, they face another book till dawn for another paper, occupied the blanks with everything they read, and snored.

And the cycle continued till the last day of exam..

Now here's a couple of questions to ask:

"Getting stuck in the loony system, does it makes the student academically excellent?"

NO!

"When the result is announced, does the students' CGPA's reflects with their true academic excellence"?

HELL NO!

Well, they're not excellent, they're just good in memorizing things. Later on, after the particular papers, everything will be forgotten.

Exam-oriented studies don't create an academically excellent student, they create zombies.

The systems sucks isn't it?  >.<

Why The Heck Is Everyone Is Dying To Be On The Tube?

Tell me whats wrong with the society,
When everywhere I look I see,
Young girls are dying to be on TV,
They won't stop till they've reached their dreams,
Diet pills, surgery,
Photoshop pictures in magazines,
Telling them how they should be,
It doesn't make sense to me..

One Question : Why the heck is everyone today seems to want to be famous so bad?

You can see this trend is actually becoming a phenomenon today. Youtube today, for example, is full of crappy videos, done by these kind of people, looking for fame. And the rules are if you got the highest compliments from the comments, you WIN, and the other way around will be cursed, mocked and rated with tonnes of "dislikes".

This is one example of those craps vids. They really thought that they really got talent to show, although they were truly do not. All they have is time and a camera.

Okay okay, that were me and my youngest sister. Lalala~

Well yeah, thats what happened today, so what? What's your problem?

My problem? Okay let me tell you what. Its sad to see how our Muslim girls today have also get affected so badly to this trend. Yeah they dressed appropriately, wore hijab, Islamic looks, no aurah is exhibited. And then they uploaded some of their own videos, just like the crappy video above, strum the guitar, make a cover for a song and sing it. And as comments are tumbling in, they suddenly became famous in a blink of an eye, mostly not coz they sung great or magnificent guitar play or nice rhythm or whatsoever pertaining to talents, but its all was just fueled from the way she looked in that video. Cute face, slight fame. Not-really-cute face, nobody cares. Thats the system, right?

And they thought they've done nothing wrong. Wearing hijab, covering aurah, appropriate attire. That'll be just enough for them perhaps. But they forgot..

HOW THEIR VOICES IS A PART OF AURAH TOO.

Well hell, I don't think they forgot, or don't even know about it. Its just they don't really care about it. Fame is in the top list! So they thought by wearing baju kurung, hijab would be enough to blindfold people that they are good Muslim girls and portrayed good Islamic looks.

AND THE OUTCOMES?

Youtube so-called artists. Yeah, real "Islamic".

SHAME :(

The Reality of Streamyx

This is Streamyx, years ago.

Google up "Streamyx" and this is what you'll get.

TV kept rolling the same ads everyday on how freaking awesome Streamyx can speed the Internet.

What a fuss about Streamyx, people kept talking stars about it all the time. It was a legendary Internet package with affordable prices. It loads with speed of light. It was the most popular Internet package and connection in Malaysia.

"What do you think about Streamyx?"

See how Streamyx had become a great phenomenon in Malaysia. Everybody talked about it.

But that was years ago. Now it was realized that those commercials and ads had been fooling us all this while.

The term "Streamyx" and "fast" is an obvious contradiction.

In fact, people today is using the word "Streamyx" to represent the term "damn slow"

For example:

1. Turtle lose the 1500m run against rabbit because it is Streamyx.
2. Peter is a Streamyx student, as a result, he got E in every subjects.
3. "That Perodua Kancil is Streamyx. It cannot be used in race"

Don't agree? Try to watch Youtube using Streamyx.

This is me, watching Youtube, using Streamyx.

Minute one.

Minute 2.

Minute 3.

Minute 44.

AAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was me. No. That is me. I'm still suffering from that. Thanks to Streamyx.

But it is still a fuss. People still keep talking about Streamyx. All the time.

And in conclusion.

SCREWED!

2 Alam : "Cerekerama" In TV3 Is Much Better!

I just watched Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa -The Malay Bloodlines at GSC, two days ago with my friends. Try not to be personal but I really enjoyed that movie. The CGI is kinda awesome for a Malay film and the storyline is interesting. Fair and just.

In our way home we kept talking about that movie and other Malay movies progressed so far. We personally think that Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa filmed by KRU is much advanced in our local filming industry, much contributed by its fascinating CGI and some more are of its storyline itself.

Out of blue we were suddenly talked about something much more boring and lame than usual; the failure of the film that had been promoted out loud by its obsessed producer all this while but ended with tragically, 2 Alam.

Over RM 40 Millions that he was very confident to raise before, it was actually only RM 23,000 that had been collected.

Out-of-logic, horrible miscalculation yep, Doc? Well its okay, you should be thankful someone has spent their money on that film.

Or maybe, you should be making the sequel. Well, since 2 Alam has failed,

Maybe 3 Alam shall do.
